    ***Unfortunately due to my health I am no longer accepting commissions. The ones in my que will be completed in the order they came in. In the future, I will open up to take commissions one at a time***  To get updates and announcements for when commissions open up again – make sure to sign up for my newsletter!

As of 10 October 2018, the current lead time is 12 – 16 weeks (yes… that’s 3-4 months).  Sculptures are made on a first come first served basis UNLESS you specifically request for a delivery month.  If a specific time is requested I will do my best to accommodate. In the event that I cannot meet your deadline, I do offer two different options – a congratulatory video showing the progress and letting the recipient know that they are so loved by YOU that a custom piece of art was commissioned. I can also provide a card in lieu of or addition to the video.

*Small sculptures are approximately 6″ at its longest measurement.

*Medium sculptures are up to 9″ at its longest measurement

*Commissions are for ANIMALS only, and in my signature anthropomorphic style.  Sorry, I don’t sculpt the human form.

* SMALL Pet Memorial sculptures start at $250 and include up to 10 hours of hands on work.  

*MEDIUM Pet Memorial sculptures start at $625 and include up to 20 hours of hands on work. 

*SMALL General Animal (including steampunk) sculptures start at $200 and include up to 8 hours of hands on work.

*MEDIUM General Animal (including steampunk) sculptures start at $550 and include up to 18 hours of hands on work. 

*For pieces with additional animals (2 dogs for example, or a mother giraffe and baby giraffe), $50 per additional animal will be added.

*Unless specified, your sculpture will include a wooden base.  You must request NO base if you do not wish for a base to be included.

*$100 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of receipt of invoice

*Shipping (or local delivery) is included (Continental US only.  International shipping is available – I’ll split the costs with my international clients.)

*Full payment is due prior to shipment.

If no dates are listed, your sculpture will go in my que in the order it was received.  Dates are filled on a first come first served basis.  If you are wanting the “steampunk” look for your animals, make sure to indicate that as well (pictures coming soon of my version of “steampunkifying” my sculptures)

What you can expect when you reserve your spot:

*Fill out the interest form below.  You will receive an email with package/sculpture options shortly after filling out the form. It will be from info@shawnabarnes.com – make sure to add me to your address book so it doesn’t inadvertently go to your spam folder. Here, you’ll get to select all the fun elements for your custom sculptures – size, fun accessories, if it’s a pet tribute or just your favorite animal, etc. (remember, ANIMALS only).

*Once you select & confirm the contents of your sculpture package, you will receive an invoice and a contract via email.  A $100  NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required unless other arrangements have been specifically made.

*Payments are scheduled every month and are split up into equal payments based on the balance.  Payment in full is due prior to shipment.

*Please initial and sign the contract within 24 hours of receipt to lock your spot in my que. 

*I will share process photos with you along the way.  you will see the progress of your custom sculpture!  If you’d prefer the outcome to be a surprise, I’ll send status updates without the pictures instead.
