Resources for Educators

On this page you will find a wide variety of arts accessibility resources geared for educators.  I use the term “educator” loosely as I believe it is anyone that takes on the responsibility for teaching another. This includes traditional academic K-12 teachers, college professors, teaching artists, parents and elders that teach youth in homeschooling settings, etc.

Projects and tutorials will be grouped by age level (the age at which the student operates at, not their chronological age), disability/challenge, and medium. Some of these may be found in more than category where applicable.

If you have any questions or are looking for something specific, please send me an email and let me know what you need.  If I don’t know the answer, I’ll help you find it.

If you are looking for a list of disabled artists to use in your classroom, that list can be found HERE

For general resources by state, please see the main arts accessibility resource page.

THIS PAGE WILL ALWAYS BE CHANGING AND GETTING UPDATED. Please subscribe to my newsletter and select “Arts Accessibility Info” to receive announcements for updates regarding these resources.

Some of the links contained on this page may direct you to a password protected page. This is because those are likely exclusive tutorials/articles I’ve written for my “Art Heals” subscribers in my members only group. If you’re interested in gaining access to that content, I’d like to invite you to explore the Members Only tab in the menu above for more information.
